ABOUT

Logan Neisel

CHEF. CREATIVE. THINKER.

I use food as a way to explore place, culture, and shared experience.

My goal is to bring together the culinary arts with history, visual art, and community to create meaningful, immersive experiences.

From Data to the Dinner Table

MY JOURNEY

My path to the kitchen came after a decade in data analytics, where I developed a deep appreciation for systems, patterns, and the stories they can tell. Seeking a more tangible and human way to create, I turned to cooking as a hobby. Little did I know how that decision would change the course of my career.

I’ve since spent the past several years immersed in the culinary world, staging at various Michelin-starred restaurants and building my own practice in Cleveland. What began as a personal outlet has grown into a broader mission to use food as a way to help people tap into shared memories.

Cuisine as a Cultural Dialogue

MY APPROACH

I approach cuisine as a dialogue between tradition and innovation, drawing from northeast Ohio’s rich cultural history, my own personal experience, and time-honored ways of life.

By finding the philosophies, techniques, and artforms these traditions hold in common, I can honor my inspirations while using them to create something innovative and unique to the world.

A Platform for What’s Next

NORTH COAST CULINARY GROUP

I founded North Coast Culinary Group (NCCG) to bring this work to life through dining, education, and collaboration. Through Prologue and future projects, NCCG serves as the foundation for a growing ecosystem of culinary experiences, products, and resources that celebrate regional identity and inspires global discussion.

From intimate dinners to educational initiatives, the goal is to create opportunities for people to experience, learn, and contribute to North Coast cuisine in their own way.
